You may be straight out of college looking for job opportunities/entrepreneurship, or already a corporate person or a successful businessman. This goes for all – Do you love what you are doing right now?

“Love what you do & do what you love” a very common expression often used by many. Only its hard to execute in life because often what we love doesn’t pay us well, or we do not utilize the full potential of it.

We are all born to make a difference, live our life worth living. Career is a very vital part which gives a way, the lifestyle and helps us fulfill our dreams. As kids we all want to become someone who has inspired us. It can be a doctor, engineer, movie star, director, animation artist, writer, and the varied different opportunities that the world has. Some are interested in creating & innovating whereas some enjoys the posh polished corporate lifestyle. For some self-motivation is a task so they prefer a 9-5 job with a month-end fixed salary while some work as per their wish as freelancers, entrepreneurs – but bottom line is we all need a career to be independent and live our life in own terms.

Are you living by default or by design? I will help you understand the question better. Its related to the work that we do, did it happen by accident, like is it you happen to just start working because you were given this opportunity or you were looking for something and you started working once you got it. We rush for opportunities and take decision based on situations. Temporary situations may impact long term career. So, for example, if you want to be a writer should you start working as an HR if the opportunity knocks? Or you make a path to the person you want to become.

Getting lost in career is very common, because first we must earn our living. You may often find yourself in a position where you are doing a job just for the sake of money and trust me it’s okay as – “Money is Honey – Financial In-dependency” is the need of the hour.
