“We all go through doubt. It’s hard. Those difficult moments are what build your character.”

As humans we have the power to think, have opinions, make choices and live. With great power comes greater confusion. Predominant in the teenagers “Confusion” is considered as a problem but if you ask me “Confusion is a sign of intelligence; only fools are crystal clear.”

It’s absolutely okay to be confused!

If you are confused in your life this is what you need to read today!

You are in a phase of life where your biology, physics and all subjects are life are going through a transition. Cells are multiplying faster than before and hormones are changing its pattern. You will find that your taste of song, food, places and people starts changing with time until final adulthood.

You are in a constant phase of making choices. Whenever there are choices there lives confusion. In contemporary world with globalization and access to infinite information just as life is easy – its a little hard to deal with the confusion.

By the teen-years you have developed several hobbies now is the time you need to find “what you are good at”? It’s a little tricky but sure you can make difference between “being good at painting” and “loving to sing”. If you put your heart onto something that eradicates the confusion and you have a clarity of what you love doing. So the first question is do you choose being good at something or the thing that you love doing!

What would you choose?

In these study years the future looks quite vague, as you may want to be a doctor but biology may seem to go over your head as a subject. That can lead to a confusion of the choice you need to make right after your boards. This is a crucial life decision as if not the complete life but the beginning of it would have this as a foundation.

Confusion of choosing what to study in higher education needs attention. Choosing a subject of your choice or the one you score the maximum marks for. Often a lot of us are good at mugging up bookish terms and writing extremely well in papers but then if asked later we do not remember anything. That’s because by-heart we have not understood the subject. Choose wisely on the subjects to avoid extra burdened pressure!

Confusion with feelings, another hustle to deal with. With the changing hormones and transitioning from teen to adult you will have a roller coaster ride on feelings. It’s the time of life almost everyone falls in love once or experiences infatuation. But, its too early to make life decision and choosing that “one” person for life. So, the best suggestion is to go with the flow.

The harder you try to make choices the more difficult it will be to cope up with your feelings.

Until teen you may be driven majorly by your parents or your family. Now, you may start having opinions and perceptions on everything around. That leads to confusion too. Now, you cannot change things in a day right ? So your behavior may confuse others and create a mess at times. Leave it onto time and things will fall in place accordingly. Also your doubts will lead to clarity one day so wait for that time!

You will not have answers for all your confusion, like why are you suddenly sad? why are you being angry? It’s a natural process of growing up. Mood swings and not understanding your feelings is okay. Overthinking about it is not!

“Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, be strong and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.”
