Hey!
Quickly checking up on you, did you get enough sleep today?
I am here to listen about your present state of mind. This October we have been exploring different factors of Stress, today being the most important.
Are you having acute headache, suffering from insomnia, feeling lethargic, lost your appetite, gaining weight, concerned with your digestive system, or having a rush of sensation in your heart? You may not know but your Stress is effecting your body.
Stress effects health in many ways, obesity, vascular disease, increase in your sugar level – diabetes, forgetting things – Alzheimer‘s disease, depression, lack of breath – Asthma and gastrointestinal problems.
As per research, about 80% of severe illness is caused by Stress. Unknowingly it just might be your “Breaking-point”. Stress works as a booster for underlying diseases. It paces up sickness and cracks your immunity system.
You might ask me that how do you know that you are stressed?
Damages caused by stress are dominant. When you are stressed, you become emotionally imbalanced and might:
- Lose your temper for petty things.
- Feel over-burdened.
- You might have infinite thoughts in your head and you just can’t help them stop.
- Being happy becomes difficult.
- Nervous break-down
- You feel isolation
- You lose your sense of humor
- Anxiety / Panic attacks
- Give up on life
- Hurt yourself or think of an extreme damage like suicide
Now, your body responds to such feelings in a different manner and you might have serious health conditions:
- Increased heart rate
- Pumps up your Blood pressure level
- Sugar secretion increases and you may become diabetic
- Lack of oxygen flow can cause respiratory disease
- Muscle cramps and body aches are common
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Flushed Skin
- Body Pain
Stress causes fatigue, are you still in dilemma?
About 77% of suicides occur due to Stress. Pre-mature death due to unhealthy lifestyle is also an extreme damage caused by Stress.
People who are advising you about “Stress” just being a feeling or an imaginary state of mind can put you in trouble. As it needs to be treated delicately.
